Meet Thing 1 & Thing 2, an inseparable pair of mischief makers sporting matching sleek black fur coats. These Manx twins don't always get along well with other cats they've just met, but eventually calm down. Sometimes they play rough with each other. But for better or worse, they deserve to always be together. As kittens, these two were scheduled to be killed because they were sneezing, sniffling, and considered not adoptable. A week after being rescued, they were bouncing around like hyperactive puppies. Manx cats are usually born without tails. (They weren't amputated.) They're very active and incredibly fast. Their hind legs are longer and more powerful than average, and they love to sprint. A typical cat jumping down off a stack of papers may leave the top sheet undisturbed, but a Manx will leave the whole stack fluttering in the air. I tried to keep them as pets for several years, but doing cat rescue in my home, I have lots of shy, easily intimidated cats passing through. These two frequently gang up and bully my new fosters. They're not going to change, so they need a new home. These cats are free of parasites, litter box trained, and in excellent health. They've been neutered, vaccinated, and have micro-chips. All Sailin' Cat's foster cats and kittens have been vet checked, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, are free of internal and external parasites, and have a microchip.
